‘Introduction to Yoga’: a day which provides an introduction to yoga and the three main yoga practises of Asana (movement), Pranayama (breath work) and Meditation (quietening the mind). Lets you find out what yoga is all about, what it can offer you and will put you in a confident position to start any yoga class.

‘A Day Retreat’: a day retreat for those living relatively locally or for those unable to make a full weekend retreat. Our day will include asana, pranayama (breath practises), deep meditation, a mindful activity, satsang/spiritual discussion…..it will provide a valuable pause for you to take time out from your everyday life, nuture and reconnect with yourself.

Half Day Workshops
‘Breath Workshop’: this afternoon workshop is all about understanding your breath, physically, psychologically and emotionally and why it’s such an integral part of a balanced yoga practise. Learn more about your breath anatomy, nervous system and learn various yoga pranayama (breath practises).
Date: Saturday, 2nd October
‘A Morning of Mindfulness’: this morning workshop/group will begin with an half hour guided meditation. Then there will be an hour-long mindfulness activity (walking, looking at nature, movement, eating, breathing, listening, crafting etc) . The session finishes with a hot drink, snack and chance to chat about our observations from the morning.
